Welcome to Pueblo Bikers United

Pueblo Bikers United (PBU) is a Non-Profit organization that began in 1978. PBU consists of a Board of Directors and its Public Members. PBU monthly meetings are conducted every 2nd Friday of each month. The meetings are held at the American GI Forum, 125 Hector Garcia Place, at 7:00 PM. (Located behind Loaf n Jug on Santa Fe.) PBU welcomes anyone who is interested in working as a team to benefit the children and youth of our community. PBU hosts the Annual Toy Bowl, which is the friendly flag football game held each year between the Bikers and various members of Local Law Enforcement. This long-standing Annual Rivalry is a major benefit to Pueblo Community's needy children. The Toy Bowl will be in its 30th year Fall of 2009. The cost of entry into the game is $5.00 or a new toy. All monies and toys collected are put in storage to add to the Annual Toy Run. The exciting and entertaining annual football game brings many fans out to support each side sun, rain or snow! PBU sells t-shirts, game programs (which could have a picture of you in it!) and PBU runs the concession stand. After covering the overhead, all proceeds benefit the toy run.R

The Annual Toy Run is always held the first Saturday of each December. If Mother Nature is kind and the weather is bearable for riders, droves of leather-clad bikers with hearts of gold turn out! Pueblo Bikers United holds the title for the longest standing Annual Toy Run west of the Mississippi! December 5, 2008, was our biggest yet, over 1,500 in attendance. Each year, the Sunday after the Toy Run, the Pueblo Community Agencies show up and shop for all their needy children. Agencies include La Familia Fuerte, Foster Agency, Los Pobres, Handicapped Children's Program, just to name a few. PBU helps to meet Santa Claus halfway and help those who would otherwise go without.

Pueblo Bikers United also awards between three and four Annual Fall Scholarships to young college-bound students. The number of awards is dependent on PBU's financial standing. Several fundraisers for the awards are conducted throughout the year for this purpose.

For more information, please join us for a meeting! Or you can contact J.T. or Ramona Trujillo, at 719-543-1360.

PBU sincerely thanks all the generous people that make this all possible. Ride safe and God Bless!!
